Nine courses of home-cooked brilliance from one of Hong Kong's premier private chefs

The most exclusive Chinese New Year table isn't one in tableclothed fine-dine restaurants. Rather, the most exclusive Chinese New Year table is the one seated, well-worn and well-loved, in the homes of master chefs, as they make the most of their talents for the people they love most.

In this spirit of home-cooked excellence, we've invited self-taught private chef Nero Ip to run our pass for one service – and one service only – as he brings to our Chef's Table course after course of moreish Shunde-style delicacies, from his signature scallion-oil drenched hand-shredded chicken to swirls of shrimp roe noodles tucked alongside sumptuous slices of fish maw. As he would in his own kitchen.

For this curated Year of the Snake dining experience, which will be complemented by a live calligraphy demonstration by Pearl Yuen, we welcome you to reserve tickets for yourself plus your guests at our communal table from 7pm on Thursday 16 January. Each non-refundable ticket for this family-style supper hosted by chef Nero is $1,398, with an optional $400 wine pairing spotlighting six glasses of sensational Chinese wines.

Please note, given the nature of this family-style experience, you'll be seated shoulder to shoulder with your fellow Members at our Chef's Table, and no changes can be accommodated for this special menu.
